The Museum held its second annual tribute to our industry’s LGBTQ community. Discussions delved into the societal and workplace issues impacting the community today. Panel I explored the historical milestones since the Stonewall protests 50 years ago: the impact of HIV/AIDS, the role played by the gay media, and the social activists who helped bring us to where we are today. Panel II explored issues affecting the LGBTQ community at work: employment discrimination, family leave, ERGs and the continued challenges with inclusion and acceptance.
