PR World Cup ICCO 2023

The PRCA Americas PR NextGen World Cup – LATAM Region Qualifier Competition is an exciting opportunity for rising PR professionals to showcase their creative excellence in PR and Communications. The competition serves as a qualifying round for the ICCO Next Generation PR World Cup 2023 and will be held in English to create the same environment as the Final World Cup. Here are the key details and dates to remember:

Registration Deadline : Thursday 21st September at 18:00 CT 

Registration Process: Pay the registration fee and email team member details to jo.brophy@prca.global

Entry Criteria: Both team members must be 35-years-old or younger as of 1st June 2023, and teams can be composed of individuals from different organizations

Competition Format: Participating teams will receive a brief from the PRCA Americas Charity Partner in LATAM and have 48 hours to create a campaign. The judging panel will score the campaigns based on set criteria to determine the winning team. 

Competition Rules: Teams must submit a 10-slide deck and a 3-5 minute video explaining their campaign idea. The submission should include a creative idea, strategy, and execution plan. 

Timeline and Fees (USD):

Early Bird Pricing (until 7th September 2023): FREE for members, $50 for non-members per team. 

Normal Pricing (from 7th September 2023): FREE for members, $100 for non-members per team. 

Competition Dates: 

LATAM Competition: Wednesday 27th September 2023, 10:00 CT – Friday 29th September 2023, 10:00 CT.

Shortlist Announcement: Tuesday 17th October 2023 

Virtual Presentation for Shortlisted Teams: Friday 20th October 2023

Winner Notification: Announced by Wednesday 25th October 2023 

Prizes: 

Regional Competition Prize: A well-deserved certificate and bragging rights as the best PR team in LATAM, along with entry to the World Final. 

World Final Winning Prize: Ultimate bragging rights as the global champions and an exciting trip to the 2024 ICCO Global Summit (2024 location tbc). ICCO will cover flights, accommodation, and summit tickets up to 1800 euros per team, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
